UPCOMING EVENTS DURING THE WINTER SESSION:

SATURDAY MARCH 13

LIBBY, MONTANA, IRISH FAIR

We have been asked to send a group of dancers to this event on MARCH 13 (Saturday).  I will only be selecting dancers from the MONDAY 6:30 CLASS.  We only need about 8 dancers.  I can take 7 in my van.  If one of you Mothers would like to come along in a second vehicle, we can take a few more dancers.  Let me know if you are interested!  The Irish Fair will put us up in motel rooms on Saturday night.  My suggested list of dancers is as follows:  Rose, Chloe, Maggie, Nichole, Kristen, Ashley, Shannon, Emma Wolfe .  We will be dancing with a live band.  I would like to take only kids who are 14 or older.  Please let me know if you wish to participate!

*WEDNESDAY MARCH 17th

We have been asked to dance for a fundraiser benefit with the same musicians that played for us at the MAC in September.  I will include dancers from Monday 5:30 and 6:30 classes. Here is the latest info from the event coordinators:

"The event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. We (the Event) will be in the Pend Oreille Pavilion on the north side of the building.  Free parking is available in the parking garage and you and your dancers can enter through the Family Entrance directly into the lobby area outside our event without having to go through the Casino Floor. Please plan to arrive a little before 6 PM. We anticipate your first set will be about 6:30 p.m. with a second set about 7:30.  We would like to offer our guests the opportunity for a free dance lesson, perhaps between your 2 sets or as part of your second set.  Set times depend on the overall event schedule and will be adjusted as needed.

"Because of the cost of meals, I regret that I cannot offer to provide dinner for you dancers, so I suggest they plan to eat before the event.  We will have soft drinks and water available and some snack items.  We will also provide a seating area for your performers.  Please let me know if you require a backstage changing area because I will need to make arrangements for that in advance.

"Please remind parents that this is a reservations-only paid fund-raising event with beer, wine and alcohol available in the room.  We request that you and any parent chaperons monitor your dancers while you are at the event. You will remain responsible for the safety and behavior of  your performers and any other members of your party.  Also, if parents are interested in participating in the event they should contact me in advance to make a paid reservation."

*SATURDAY MARCH 20th Ceili and Potluck and mini-recital at the Grange Hall!  Young dancers in Pre-beginner class through the B2/NOV class will perform on stage while families eat.  Families with last name A-K please bring a main dish or salad; L-Z bring dessert and drinks.
