FALL  SESSION 2010 CLASS SCHEDULE REVISION

Performance group: Meets on 2nd and 4th Saturday each month, 10:00-12:00

 

Hello everyone! I hope you are planning to come to classes as we get started!  I am looking forward to seeing everyone again! 
 
TWO IMPORTANT NOTES:
 
1.  I NEED TO SWAP THE MONDAY SCHEDULE WITH THE FRIDAY SCHEDULE! 

     Rose will be teaching the advanced classes this year, and she can only do this if we meet on MONDAYS.
     I know this is crazy and very short notice, SO PLEASE COME TO CLASS FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10TH AS USUAL, if you were scheduled for a Friday class. 
     PLAN TO SWAP YOUR DANCE CLASS DAY BEGINNING MONDAY SEPTEMBER 13.
   
The New Plan Looks Like This:
 
MONDAY  (STARTING ON SEPTEMBER 13)
                4:00 B2/Novice  age 10-12
                5:00 B2/Novice   age 12 and up
                6:00   Novice and up   age 14 and older
 
(look on your previous email or schedule for the lists of names)
 
FRIDAY  (STARTING ON SEPTEMBER 17)
             4:00 Pre-beginners
                     New beginners age 6-9
                     Beginner 1 age 6-9
             5:00 - Beginner 2  age 7-10
             6:00 - New Beginners age 10 and up
                       beginner 2+   age 8-9
                       beginner 2+    age 10-13

PLEASE EMAIL A REPLY TO LET ME KNOW YOU RECEIVED THIS CHANGE!  I apologize for the inconvenience, but our schedules are evolving as we speak, and this is the only way to make it possible for Rose to teach the more advanced students this year.  Thanks for understanding!

 

2. IRISH COUNTRY SET DANCING
          Beginning Saturday September 18th!!!

    This is new! and FUN for everyone.....teens, tweens, parents, even grandparents!  Come and learn simple footwork and group dances similar to Ceili dancing or square dancing.  We will begin at 7:00pm with instructions and then dance our way until 8:45.  Great exercise! Great family activity!  Good way for young people to spend an evening in a wholesome environment.  Guaranteed great time! 

The cost is just $5.00 per person, or $15.00 per family.         No special shoes required.

Come and celebrate "half-way" to St. Patrick's Day and learn some new moves.  We will meet for dancing on the following Saturdays this Fall:

Oct. 23
Nov. 6
Nov. 13
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! BRING A FRIEND OR TWO!  IT WILL BE A GREAT TIME FOR EVERYONE!
 

Tuition Information

Tuition fees: $40 per month for the 1st child; $35 for the second child; $30 for any other children in same family.

 Performance Group: $20 additional per month per family  (2 Saturday classes per month)

Costume fees:  These will be determined later.  I am working on a plan to simplify/unify our school dresses.  I will keep you posted.

If you have a special talent or skill you would like to “barter” for classes, please speak to me about it! We are eager to help our families out during these tough economic times.  I really need a full time, experienced seamstress to take over costuming for me!  It is becoming more than I can handle!  Anyone interested?  We can also use experienced helpers on the construction projects (see Carl).
